In Utero is the third and final studio album released by Nirvana. Nirvana intended the record to be significantly different from its previous album Nevermind and to capture a course more natural sound, the group hired producer Steve Albini to record the album during only a short two week period in February of 1993. In Utero has since went 5 times platinum selling over 5 millions copies to date.

Nevermind is the second studio album released by Nirvana and the first to be released under label Geffen Records. Despite low expectations Nevermind became a surprise success towards the end of 1991 largely in part to its hugely popular first single “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. Nevermind has since went 10 times platinum selling over 10 millions copies to date.

Bleach is Nirvana’s debuting album, released on June 15, 1989 through independent record label Sub Pop. Bleach originally only sold 30,000 copies but has since sold over 1 million copies following the huge success of Nirvana’s second album Nevermind. When fans of the Nevermind learned of Bleach’s poor kick off they flocked in groves to check out the beginning works of front man Kurt Cobain.
